Are you an experienced, enthusiastic Nursery Nurse looking for a full time Room Leader Position? Do you have recent experience of working with young children and leading a room, supervising staff and monitoring activities?

If the answer is yes and you have relevant qualifications in Childcare then we can help you find your next role.

You will work under supervision of the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager and play a key part in the day to day running of the room and the Nursery, helping to ensure there is a positive and safe environment for the children at all times. Flexibility is key for this role and you must have confidence in leading and creating activities and managing challenging behaviour.

The main responsibilities for this role are:



* To plan effective activities for children of all abilities
* To observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on children's progress
* To understand the roles of parents and carers in children's learning and demonstrate ability to liaise with parents and carers sensitively and effectively
* To work independently as well as part of a team
* To work creatively
* To provide necessary personal care to children
* To develop their knowledge through the evaluation of their own learning needs;
* To organise, lead and motivate a team, and work well as part of it
* To demonstrate very good numeracy and literacy skills

Requirements:



* Recent experience of working with children from 0 - 5
* A relevant qualification - NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, NNEB, BA (HONS) etc
* Up to date DBS Certificate
