Are you a Level 3 Nursery Nurse based near Kilburn, London looking for a new opportunity?

A national nursery chain requires an experienced Nursery Nurse to work in their Kilburn Nursery.

The nursery has a number of rooms which are suitable for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years. A combination of child-led play and structured learning helps the expert childcare team to maximise the potential of every child. The dedicated staff create programmes of stimulating and educational play including mark making, literacy and numeracy skills, role play and home corner activities. They also encourage quiet time too and of course there's always plenty of time for reassuring cuddles and love, especially for the babies in the homely, comforting baby room. Outdoor play is an absolute must and the staff make sure that children of all ages get out and about every day in their super-sized, secure garden.

Responsibilities:



* Safeguarding children
* Be able to cover various age ranges in the EYFS
* To provide an exceptional standard of emotional, physical, intellectual and social care for the children in the setting
* Helping to maintain and oversee a clean, tidy, safe and child-friendly environment
* Supervising activities both inside and outside, including physical pursuits
* Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
* Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork
* Feeding suitable snacks, meals and drinks
* Teaching general life skills such as manners and basic hygiene

Requirements:



* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid
* To be pro-active, understanding, empathetic and patient
* Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents
