A nursery within the Rochdale area is looking to take on qualified Nursery Nurses & unqualified nursery assistants as soon as possible to join their enthusiastic and growing team.

Children are cared for by an enthusiastic, skilled and experienced team of childcare practitioners who plan learning experiences to meet the needs of each individual child in their care. Nursery rooms have been expertly renovated and resourced to create light and spacious learning environments for different age groups.There is also a wonderful outdoor play area for children to enjoy fresh air during learning and play.

The nursery operates from 7:00 - 6:00, Monday - Friday, 51 weeks a year.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Supervising young children throughout the day to ensure safeguarding is fulfilled appropriately
* Helping with meal times, feeding and cleaning the children to promote a high standard of hygiene within the nursery
* Creating and running different activities for the children to follow according to the EYFS framework
* Using your initiative to create a fun, safe and educational environment for the children in the nursery
* Working successfully within an inclusive team to provide high quality childcare
* Changing nappies and helping with potty training
* Creating a positive and encouraging environment for the children during their early life development
* Ensure profiles and observations are completed to a high standard and in line with the EYFS Framework

If you believe you would be able to provide great childcare to the children then please read below to see the specific requirements you need:

* Have a DBS on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new one
* Experience working with children within the last 5 years in a professional environment
* Have a CACHE level 3 certificate or equivalent - for qualified position
* Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework and how to apply it in a nursery environment
* Must have excellent knowledge of safeguarding and its importance when working with young and vulnerable children
