Are you an early year's educator looking for the next stage in your career? Do you have a strong knowledge of the EYFS frame work and are looking to expand your knowledge? If so we have the perfect role for you. Our nursery in Salford is looking for a full time Nursery Nurse to work with ages 0-5. You will have a strong childcare background and have at least 6 months experience within a childcare setting. Our nursery is based in the heart of Salford and is very easy to get to. The nursery has a lot of activities such as football, yoga, Christmas shows, graduation, etc. We also encourage new comers to take part in settling in sessions to encourage a warm welcome.
The nursery also encourages children to take part in fund-raising activities and eco projects which helps the children to learn about how to protect the environment. You will also be teaching children on the latest technology equipment such as smart boards and ipads. As an Early years educator you will also be expected to have discussions with parents about their child's development and what you have personally observed and what can be improved.


* Day to day care of children within the setting
* Ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to
* Observation and planning in accordance with the EYFS
* Providing termly progress reports to parents/ carers
* Development of trusting relationship with parents /carers to support the developmental needs of 'key children'
* Safeguarding of children
* Providing and engaging children in stimulating play activities
* Assisting with tidying up and setting up rooms for the following day
* Following health and safety procedures and reporting issues to your line manager
* Supporting students and apprentices within your team
* Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families according to the EYFS.
* Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues.
* Ensuring health, safety and well being of the children at all times.
* Develop and maintain professional working relationships with relevant outside agencies


* Level 3 or above childcare qualification
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
* Minimum of 6 months experience working in a childcare setting.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members and parents/ carers.
* A DBS which is on the updated service or the willingness to conduct a new one.
