Nursery Nurse

St. Albans

* Do you want to work for a company that rewards success?
* Do you have experience in the Early Years sector?
* Are you looking to take the next step in your career?

A Nursery in St Albans is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse to join them ASAP.

The role is suitable for those with a Level 3 qualification or above, with appropriate experience in a similar setting.

You must have experience working in the EYFS.

The nursery has spacious playrooms, situated in a purpose-built nursery in the centre of St Albans.

Activities include Sing and Sign and Music and Movement, and all children take part in the School Readiness Programme to prepare them for a school environment.

The nursery will provide ongoing training and can offer the successful candidate the chance to progress at a pace that suits them, as they firmly believe in recruiting from within.

The Nursery will provide you with:

* Competitive rates of pay.
* A workplace pension scheme.
* Professional development opportunities.
* Ample on-site parking.

* A generous holiday scheme that increases with service and seniority, and bank holidays off.

* Support the room leader and assist their day-to-day duties, ensuring a consistently high standard.

* Ensure that appropriate learning opportunities are available for the children in your room.
* Take part in staff development activities such as appraisals and reviews, and help the Nursery Manager to identify individual training needs.
* Undertake regular training and professional development.

You will need:

* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Full training in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.

Apply now to avoid missing out on this opportunity of working in a good-rated nursery: this is a rare employment opportunity due to promotion within, so call the Luton Office now to find out more or to discuss other opportunities that are available.
