Currently I am looking for an experienced level 3 or 4 practitioner to work within a wonderful Nursery based in Newmarket. Previous experience on being a Room leader would be desirable as you will be placed in charge of the Babyroom working a total of 38 hours a week. With the children being around the ages of 9 months to 2 years old, The applicable candidates must have previous experience working with children of these ages. Ideally the successful applicant will be at a level 4 stage, however the same setting does have alternative roles, so please do still get in touch with me today to find out more about them.
During this role, you will be expected to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for these young children to develop in. Because of the ages of the children, you will have to have a strong knowledge of sensory development and will understand the importance of its application. Alongside this, the successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of the statutory framework and have previous experience of providing learning through play.
As a room leader, you will also be expected to show great leadership skills and be a positive role model for both the children and to the other members of staff within the same setting. Whilst holding the utmost professionalism, you will have the opportunity to gain incredible experience as a leader, something you can then later showcase to potential employers. This is a full time permanent role that will be a great opportunity for an aspiring nursery practitioner.

Requirements:
- An Early years qualification that is Level 3 or higher
-Meet physical needs of children including personal hygiene while also helping them develop independence.
- Understanding of safeguarding
- Good knowledge of EYFS
Successful applicants will need to provide 'Right to work in the UK' documentation, undertake a DBS and provide two satisfactory references prior to commencing employment.
