Are you a qualified Nursery Nurse with leadership experience? Are you looking for a new challenge as a room leader?

This fantastic nursery is situated in the Boston spa area of north Leeds and is recruiting for a full time team member in their setting to take on a room leader position 5 days a week. You will need to be qualified to a minimum of level 3. Working hours for this position are between 7.30am and 6pm and exact shift times would be confirmed if successful at interview.

Your main responsibilities:

Observing Children and using the EYFS to monitor and record their development
Creating and monitoring activities with the children
Monitoring staff members in the room and observing their activities, offering guidance when needed
Liaising with parents and taking on key worker and leadership responsibilities
Working well both independently and leading a team
Providing personal care for the children when required

You will hold:-

NVQ level 3/ CACHE Level 3 or above/ BTEC National in Childcare or equivalent
A warm and positive approach with lots of creative ideas
Experience of working with children from 0-5 years
Excellent communication skills and record of building strong partnerships with current and prospective parents
Outstanding time keeping and attendance records
Experience within a leadership role or ability to demonstrate leadership skills
