A Room Leader is required for an Outstanding Nursery in Milton Keynes

A good-rated nursery in Milton Keynes is looking for a Level 3 qualified Room Leader with appropriate experience to join them in their state of the art nursery ASAP.

This nursery chain was rated in the top 20 nurseries by daynurseries.co.uk in 2018. They are Sing and Sign affiliated and have 4 spacious playrooms.

The nursery is close to the M1 and surrounding public transport routes for easy access.

The successful candidate must have experience working in the EYFS and be comfortable managing a team of assistants and nurses. The nursery will provide on-going training and can offer opportunities for internal progression, as they firmly believe in recruiting from within.

Responsibilities:



* Take overall responsibility for your room, including the quality of the care provided and the education delivered.
* Lead, supervise and support the staff members working in your room, ensuring that they carry out their day-to-day duties to a consistently high standard.


* Ensure that appropriate learning opportunities are planned for the children in your room and that planning documentation is of a consistently high standard.
* Take part in staff development activities such as appraisals and reviews, helping the Nursery Manager to identify individual training needs.
* Undertake regular training and professional development.

You will need:



* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Full training in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
