Are you Level 6 qualified and experienced in working with children aged 0-5?

I am recruiting for a nursery setting in the Preston area that is looking for a Team Leader with previous experience in a similar role.

The setting is OFSTED rated 'Good' and specialises in out of school care and pre-school education for children aged 2-12 years.

They adopt the Every Child Matters (ECM) policy designed to improve the well-being and life chances of all children. It focuses on five interrelated key outcomes, which every child should be given the necessary support to achieve:

The Role:



* Taking overall responsibility for your room, including the quality of the care and education that it provides.
* Leading, supervising and supporting the staff members working in your room, ensuring that they carry out their day to day duties consistently to a high standard.
* Ensuring that appropriate learning opportunities are planned for the children in your room and keeping planning documentation to a consistently high standard.
* Taking part in staff development activities such as appraisals and reviews, including helping the Nursery Manager to identify the individual training needs.
* Undertaking regular training and professional development.

The Skills:



* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 6.
* Previous experience as a Room Leader.
* Excellent working knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED.
* Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Safeguarding and paediatric First Aid training is desirable.
