Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a team leader role in Luton?

* Are you a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse?
* Do you have team leader experience?
* Do you have experience working with the 3-5 year age range?

The role has become available due to progression so this is a rare opportunity for a leadership role in a nursery who has been rated as OUTSTANDING in their previous 3 OFSTED reports. The position will start on 3rd September

You must have a minimum Level 3 qualification and experience working as a team leader. You will initially be responsible for the 3-5 year age groups and will have a team of dedicated nursery nurses and assistants under your command. You may also have the opportunity to supervise an apprentice as they complete their qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
* Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
* Fulfilling the role of key person to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members.
* Having lots of fun!

You will need:

* A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
* An excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
* Experience of people management and dealing with employee issues.
* A comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Working knowledge of employment legislation including equal opportunities legislation.
* To be fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
