Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent is essential
- 2 Year's post graduate experience in a similar role
- Current professional membership required
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
- Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
- Ability to build rapport with ease
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
Responsibilities
- Prioritise, assess and manage own patient caseload
- In-depth awareness of relevant legislation and trends in Health and Social Care
- Evidence of expert clinical knowledge to provide appropriate assessment/intervention
- Work autonomously to undertake comprehensive standardised and non-standardised assessments in all aspects of occupational performance
- Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
- Prepare/present appropriate specialist professional reports as required
- Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
- Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
- Support the service's leadership team
- Maintain a high level of safety to ensure all service users are kept safe
