Are you enthusiastic, committed and passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable adults with mental health conditions?

Are you a fully qualified Occupational Therapist and registered with HCPC?

You will be working alongside a supportive team in a lively, dynamic environment. Though this role is challenging, it is rewarding due to the difference you will make to people's lives.


- To work within an older adults community mental health team provide support for patients with acute mental health difficulties, which might be caused by either functional illnesses, cognitive difficulties or a combination of both. Their presentation is often complex and high risks to their safety and well-being are frequently identified.


- Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the potential needs of this patient group and identify how OT assessments and interventions can be effectively utilised.

- Applicants should have either Older Adults or Adult mental health experience, have an up to date knowledge of CPA, MHA, MCA, Safeguarding and previous community experience would be desirable.

- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.

- Member of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work flexibly, under direction and independently where necessary.
