Do you enjoy being that 'go-to' person? We are looking for an Office Manager to help manage a small but growing office based in Brentwood. The company is a construction firm and so having experience working on site / in construction is an absolute must!

The office currently consists of 10 people but will be growing over the years to come. As the office manager, you will have the opportunity to help implement processes and get involved with everything from ordering stationary to invoicing and the day to day running of the office. As the company grows so will your role, we are looking for someone to embrace this.

Working hours are 08:00 - 17:00

This position is paying £25,000 - £30,000 + employee benefits

Office Manager Role and Responsibilities:



* Ensure that all office facilities and consumables are maintained in an organised manner
* Procurement of office consumables, PPE and site materials, manage stock levels as per requirements.
* Effectively plan, organise events within budget.
* Book and facilitate the organisation of meetings, including the provision of refreshments where required.
* Maintain and manage diary schedules for the senior management team.
* Management of timesheets for weekly paid staff liaising with Payroll.
* Assist with preparing paperwork / IT for the arrival of new starter.
* Managing staff absences.
* Sort, maintain, copy and distribute correspondence as directed.
* Ensure relevant paperwork is filed appropriately and maintained in an organised manner.
* Answering telephones and greeting guests

Office Manager Candidate Requirements:



* Experience as an Office Manager in a Construction environment
* Happy to work on site
* An enthusiastic, happy to help type person
* A 'muck in' attitude
* Be super organised and attention to detail
* Quick thinking and be able to effectively manage problems and resolve within time restraints
