With strong ER experience and a passion for delivering on strategic projects, your key focus areas will include:Work with our leaders and managers to define people priorities that align with the employment experience we want to create for our people Provide business insight to HR and HR insight to the business to develop and enhance performanceWork with the wider HR team and business to co-design the right people products and initiatives Plan, forecast and coordinate HR activity (oversee delivery by calling upon the services of others) Facilitate discussions around change and transformation Work with leaders and managers to identify and develop their talent and ensure we create many career defining experiences for all our people e.g. learning resources, peer to peer learning, mentoring, job shadowing, projects etc.Own the employee life cycle and key people practices for the departments you support such as induction, workforce planning, reward and recognition, career progression, engagement survey action planningPromote Diversity and Inclusion interventions to raise awareness, encourage open and honest conversations and allow our people to be themselves at work Work with hiring managers to support them to identify, build relationships with and attract future talent To be successful you will show an enthusiasm to share, develop, coach and mentor and will have a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication and delivery.The ability to travel within the UK (when we can) is essential, you will ideally be based in the North (close to Manchester), with the opportunity to work from home.
