About the Role
The IoT Product Manager will develop and manage new and existing capabilities, including but not limited to LPWAN, e-SIM, and connectivity platforms, as well new and existing products including but not limited to Smart Vehicle and Asset Tracking & Monitoring. Working closely with each customer segment and channels to market, the IoT Product Manager will manage the lifecycle of all capabilities from through to in-life operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships and manage key stakeholdersBuild business cases from the ground upEnsure pricing and other key reference data for the platform(s) is up to date and fit for purposeManage capabilities and solutions lifecycle through the various stages from planning to sunsetPlan and manage key events such as product launch, Bluedoor conferenceCreate roadmap including goals, dates, metrics/KPI's and key features/resultsIdentify and manage Go-To-Market strategies working with other departments to define and execute the marketing plan, sales collateral and the training and support plan for Sales
To be considered:A good understanding of Technology and technical productsAbility to work in an agile way that positively challenges ways of working and ensures quick and low cost turnaround of proof of concepts and product launchesTechnical understanding, commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs. A strong customer focus: ability to deal with and capture insights and requirements from customers at all levels of the organisation without losing sight of business objectivesAn eye for detail and good design, with an ability to help visualise ideas to quickly test and validate them, but also ensure industrialised products have best-in-class usability, accessibility, and customer appealComfortable with ambiguity and delivering under pressure in complex fast paced environments.Ability to gather, analyse and use data to make good decisions, influence stakeholders and clearly articulate the progress of the trials and potential of new products A team player who is highly skilled in working with colleagues from across the business, suppliers, and customers Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills – both written and verbalAn organised individual, capable of managing multiple products or projects which cross different areas of the organisation
