BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - RECRUITMENT - ENGINEERING SECTOR

The BDM is responsible for developing new business opportunities within the engineering aerospace and automotive sectors. Following effective implementation of your new accounts you will be responsible for maximising the win and ensuring GP is delivered in line with expectations.
You may also be tasked to develop growth within a portfolio of existing National accounts, building client relationships and maximising new business development opportunities within them.

- To develop and convert a database of new prospects across the agreed market sector with a minimum value of £150k
- Responsible for building and executing a tangible sales strategy, including proactive management of sales pipeline, carrying out sales activities to include telephone calls, client meetings, proposal and presentation preparation, sales presentations
- Ensuring a multi-level contact strategy is achieved, being responsible for all senior level engagement
- Responsible for delivery of financial targets and budgets for account wins within first year
- To deliver both client and company key performance indicators
- Work with Sales Director, Operations Directors, Regional Directors & Branch Managers to ensure effective implementation of accounts, support implementation with the production of branch guides and ensuring client accounts are set-up with the appropriate Shared Service Centre
- Liaise with relevant branches & consultants to ensure operational delivery against the account plans, resourcing plans, client review meetings and client SLAs
- To produce internal reports to track development against and communicate at Senior Management Team meetings
To be successful in this role you will
- Have proven sales and business development experience in the Recruitment market
- Ideally have sold complex solutions to the engineering sector or similar
- Be a self-starter who has the personal drive and motivation to develop, execute and report against our market strategy
- Be innovative and strategic and able to think creatively about alternative solutions that meet our client needs
- A strong work ethic and a passion and desire to win
