Senior Transformation Programme Manager

Day rate: £1000 - £1350

As part of the AO2 delivery stream a key work stream is the delivery of our pay monthly release 3.1 which is a cornerstone of the programme to support the pay monthly transition and manage the delivery of all elements of the Release across multiple work streams and dependent projects.
Key Responsibilities:In conjunction with the various suppliers and other project managers in AO2 establish an integrated programme plan that includes all programme deliverables and interdependenciesIn conjunction with our partners and internal teams establish an integrated plan between all parties and AO2Work closely with the BSS management team to drive collaboration and teamwork across the teams to execute and monitor progress against the plans.Ensure that all business and technical delivery teams involved in the programme have clearly defined roles, responsibilities and a clear understanding of their deliverables.Lead the PAYM programme work package managers to ensure timely delivery of all technical related programme deliverables and ensure alignment to business deliverablesBe responsible for the overall R3.1 programme financial plan continually monitoring and tracking costs against the programme budget.Organise and chair stakeholder steering groups to monitor programme performance against milestone and financial plans, review and manage risks and review and approve change requests.Provide and present regular executive level status reports.Build a strong partnership with our partners and suppliers. Build a strong relationship with all key internal customers.Supplier Mgt: ensure that we are receiving the right quality and deliverables across all suppliers
Essential Knowledge and Skills:Extensive experience and successful record of accomplishment in project and programme management delivering both significant business change and related IT solutions (Billing/rating/provisioning/order management).Delivered major programmes utilising multiple suppliers with budgets more than £50M and total team size > 50.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships with technical, business and senior management stakeholders.Strong influencing and negotiating skills with a demonstrated ability to create ‘win-win’ outcomes.Results oriented with a proven ability to drive team engagements in an aggressive and time sensitive environment in a geographically dispersed modelAble to work independently and take a logical and orderly approach to analysing problems, organising work and planning actions.Significant experience leading large transformations of £200 million plus projectsHas completed similar large scale complex transformationsSignificant experience managing 3rd parties and challenging suppliersTechnical knowledge of the BSS stackStrong vendor management skills and able to technically challengesignificant experience in transformation programme delivery
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:Experience delivering billing/rating solutionsExperience of delivering projects using Agile and/or Lean methodologies & best practice.Skilled in Microsoft Project / MS Project Server.
