Randstad has an opportunity available for Learning and Development Administrator to join the team at Belfast Metropolitan College.
The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the People & Culture Lead, driving the Learning & Development Programme bookings and coordinating logistics for staff development events at the Springvale Campus.

Requirements
- Hold a BTEC National, GNVQ Advanced or NVQ Level 3 or above
- A minimum of one year of experience working in an administrative setting
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above, or equivalent (with evidence)
- Experience working in an administrative role that involved providing project-focused support
- Highly proficient in the use of IT systems such as the MS Office package including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience using databases and spreadsheets for tasks such as data entry and pulling reports
- Available for an immediate start pending checks
- Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting / compliance checks including an Enhanced Access NI check due to the nature of this work, this may include a Barred List check for both Children & Vulnerable Adults (depending on the role)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive admin support to the P&C team including room bookings, catering planning and minute taking
- Coordinate the processing of external training requests via the college standard process including the booking of flights, travel and accommodation
- Support the Staff Development Coordinator in rolling out the annual staff development schedule
- Screen and organise all staff development requests prior to passing them to the relevant team manager for sign-off
- Manage the input of data onto main software systems
- Support preparations for internal and external audits, reviews and inspections
- Generate purchase order numbers, update budget spreadsheets and process invoices for external payees
