Payroll Administrator

Payroll Administrator - Immediate Start - 13.33 ph - Solihull B37

Are you determined, reliable and motivated?

Are you looking for full time and long term work with a leading company in the construction industry?

Randstad are currently recruiting for an experienced and skilled payroll administrator to work for our client, a leading company in the construction industry.

This is a very exciting opportunity for you to secure long term work and positevely contribute to their vibrant team in solihull B37.

Working hours will be moday to friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm

Your duties will include



* Plan and organise workload to ensure that weekly and monthly payrolls are delivered on time, providing additional cover for absent colleagues as appropriate.
* Process weekly and monthly payrolls and associated outputs in accordance with payroll policies and procedures, and statutory regulations while ensuring all colleagues are paid accurately and on time.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of statutory HMRC regulation to ensure correct assessment calculation and application in relation to employee records and payments
* Provide advice and assistance to the payroll team colleagues and stakeholders in accordance with GDPR
* Propose changes to own & team work practises and procedure and implement new procedures as required by legislative, stakeholder and departmental changes.
* Process requirements for information and advice on payroll matters and provide written responses in accordance with GDPR as appropriate

* IT Literate
* 1 year experience using SAP
* Confident in stakeholder management
* Excellent telephone manner
* Attention to detail and analytical skills
* Orgainsational skills
* Being able to work under pressure
