Pay & Benefits Adviser Role
Up to £28,000
12 months fix term contract
Mon to Fri 9-5
Coventry based

We are proud to be working with one of the largest social housing providers in the UK. If you are an experienced payroll advisor and have experience or exposure with benefits and rewards within a HR capacity we are looking for you! This fantastic opportunity is based out of their Coventry office.

The day to day duties are as followed:

* Carry out administrative tasks to ensure support of the reward function:
* Respond to iTrent and flexible benefit queries from colleagues and Managers including maintenance of outstanding workflow tasks within iTrent
* Point of contact for MHR POD Team
* Prepare and check various import templates used to send data to the payroll provider MHR
* In depth monthly payroll checking procedures
* Ability to manually calculate net pay
* Accurately check redundancy calculations
* Ability to work with multiple terms & conditions and pension schemes
* Generate monthly Auto Enrolment letters
* Prepare joiners & leavers report to benefits providers
* Prepare monthly pension contributions reports
* Run monthly and adhoc reports from iTrent
* Car Fleet/Car Allowance administration
* Support flexible benefit windows including Holiday Trading, Cycle to Work and Childcare Vouchers and myChoice portal administration
* Respond to earnings enquires from external bodies
* Support periodic data submissions to Office of National Statistics
* Advise company car drivers of impending MOT expiry
* Monthly/Periodic data cleanse of iTrent system
* Attach HR documentation to iTrent as and when required
* Manage Reward & Systems Inbox, responding in a timely manner
* Be aware of changes in legislation, regulatory requirements and procedures/policies
* Be risk aware in respect of sensitive data, data protection and ensure accurate logging of data
* Provide an effective customer focused service and respond to all enquiries as necessary
* Adopt a climate of high performance and quality standards, continual improvement, value for money and risk awareness


* HR/Payroll systems experience - preferably iTrent
* Good communicator and interpersonal skills, a flexible approach
* Good literacy and numeracy skills to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work with figures and spread sheets including manipulation and basic analysis of data using formulas
