job description

We are currently recruiting for a payroll assistant for well established firm that are based in Coventry.
It's a very busy role

Your skills/ Experience


* Processing all aspects of payroll for all clients and meeting individual deadlines
* Setting up of new staff and adhering to contractual changes
* Assisting with ad-hoc queries from clients, colleagues and HMRC
* Maintain communication with all clients as necessary

Your Skills/ Experience


* 2 years payroll experience (payroll qualification would be advantageous)
* Experience processing payroll in an accounts practice
* Experience with high volume payrolls
* Good understanding of UK PAYE legislation's and an understanding of statutory dedications
* Understanding on pension/ auto-enrolment
* Good attention to detail
* Meticulous in maintaining records
* Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
* Excellent Communication skills
