A mixed-gender public secondary school & sixth form for ages 11-18 is seeking an experienced and influential science teacher who is able to teach physics to GCSE. The school is located on some 260 acres of spectacular parklands with access to some great facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

* Preparing lessons in line with the curriculum
* Delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics lessons with Physics up to KS5
* Setting challenging homework which effectively links the lessons
* Marking and providing effective feedback on completed work
* Managing classroom behaviour
* Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of children
* Attendance at school events such as parents evening

Key requirements for the position include:

* A clear and up-to-date enhanced DBS check (we can support you with your application)
* QTS, QTLS or NQT status
* Experience of teaching Physics to A Level (advantageous)
* A degree and a relevant teaching qualification
* Evidence of the right to work in the UK
