Responsibility/Accountability

To achieve optimum commercially viable and timely planning permissions through the management and co-ordination of the planning process.

Land & Planning:



* Advise on and achieve the optimum commercially viable planning permissions and monitor progress of planning for the life cycle of the permission.
* Management and accurate checking of legal documentation relating to the planning and appeal process, including Section 106 Agreements/UPO's and all other legal documentation as appropriate.
* Liaison and advice on discharge of planning conditions.
* Production of accurate management information reporting to all relevant parties within prescribed timescales using defined company-wide systems, procedures and processes.
* Appointment and management of outside consultants including fee setting.

Health & Safety:



* Knowledge, understanding and implementation of Health and Safety regulations in line with HSE and Company Policy.

General:



* Strive to continually improve themselves, their work, their department and the business
* Be accountable for personal development through the PDR process seeking out opportunities to learn new skills.
* Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work.
* Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as specified by the Line Manager which are commensurate with the level of the post and to work as part of a mutually supportive Land & Planning Department.
