Portfolio Manager - Change & Transformation

Working on one of largest technology transformation programmes in the not for profit sector, this is an opportunity to join the newly formed Change & Transformation function as Portfolio Manager.

The organisation are investing heavily in Technology and innovation - to the tune of £100m+. They are transitioning to modern methods of IT delivery, including adoption of Agile and DevOps. It's genuinely a great time to be joining.

You will form part of the senior leadership team, and provide structure for portfolio delivery and enable creative solutions to maximise success.

You'll be a strategic thinker, sharp, creative, with exceptional leadership and influencing skills. You will shape the portfolio to ensure the right things are delivered at the right times - identifying gaps, issues and risks.

The role is all about aligning the Portfolio delivery with the strategic goals of the group and the change and transformation programme. When needed you will need to be 'hands on' to assist when projects are not being executed to their full potential, providing guidance, mentoring and leadership to the team.

Responsibilities:-

Leadership, management & customer service



* Own, develops and manage Project Portfolio and Roadmaps
* Prioritises the portfolio based on agreed criteria and wider dependencies
* Lead inspiring and challenging portfolio reviews, capturing and updating ways of improving the approach to portfolio and programme management
* Provides portfolio updates to the Change Board with an overview on progress, risks and upcoming priorities
* In collaboration with the Director of Change & Transformation - develop the strategic roadmap
* Works collaboratively with the IT Planning Director to ensure portfolios are aligned with the strategic goals
