        Quantity SurveyorI am currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a growing civil engineering contractor, covering infrastructure works on a large projects. This is an opportunity to work with a main contractor on a number of civil engineering projects across London & the South East. The ideal candidate will have worked as a Quantity Surveyor previously for another contractor.I am looking for someone who is talented, motivated and an ambitious quantity surveyor to join the expanding project team. As a quantity surveyor you will assist the senior surveyors and, in conjunction with other team members, provide effective financial and commercial control on all allocated contracts. Throughout the project, more responsibility will be given dependant on progress and understanding of the scheme of works. They will happily consider people from a general heavy civils background also. The company has a really good family feel, often referred to as "best company I've worked for" by staff that are there now. They have plenty of work at present on established frameworks and a confirmed pipeline of work in future too. To be considered you will have had previous experience within either highways or heavy civil engineering projects managing schemes of at least £5m in value. You will be experienced running teams, writing risk assessments and method statements, producing the 3 week look ahead programmes, producing the daily reports, ensuring health and safety on site and being commercially aware.
