        My client is reputable regional based contractor and I'm currently looking for an experienced working fabric supervisor.Must have the ability to work between multiple jobs and organise a small team of staff and subcontractors. Must have excellent working knowledge and experience of fabric trades and ideally be from a building, carpentry or multi-skilled back ground, technical qualifications advantageous.General duties include:Supervision of multitude of site based projects and small works.H&S management in compliance with company policy & documentation.Quality checks and follow internal snagging proceduresWorking with project managers to organise materials and labour resources.To be considered for this role, you must have:Confident communication skillsSound fabric knowledge and experience.Well organised.Strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results.Health & Safety Qualification- IOSH, SSSTS or similar advantageous.Forward thinking pro-active approach.All works are mobile based across the South. This is a temporary contract for approximately 18 months. About the Company/Client/Project: The role is within the project team and you will be reporting to a project manager and contracts manager. It will also be to look after the sub-contractor works on site with both externals and internal packages in there. Dealing with the sub-contractors and labour on site, you will assist the project manager to cover the ground and make sure the quality of work and safe practices are adhered to over the course of the project. You will act as your own number one on your part of the scheme in charge of RAMS / safety and daily site diary's and walk rounds across the site. You will be key in both daily and weekly meetings and also the on site management. as required as well as pre start meeting and technical queries' and Inspection test plans for subcontractors quality on the project . Requirements including certificates and qualifications: Applicants must have up to date CSCS SMSTS and 1st aid as well as experience on education projects for the main contractors from start to finish in excess of £5 million in the past Ideally candidates should be used to working for main contractors and have a no nonsense attitude to health and safety, be organized with paperwork and the management of technical issues out on site.
