        Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist?We are seeking an occupational therapist to work between two well established SEN schools in Loughborough. This would be a term time position, 5 days a week on a permanent basis with the exception of two weeks admin in the summer holidays.Salary: £31,365 - £37,890 (FTE) Pro rata (term time only) Responsibilities include:Providing occupational therapy to pupils aged 6-17Delivering Occupational Therapy and Sensory integration assessments and programmes to students through collaborative work with other therapists, class and support staff through an MDT approachPlanning, preparing, delivering and evaluating support programmes for pupilsDelivering and assessing pupil interventions in school and elsewhere as requiredProviding occupational therapy targets for integration into the curriculum as part of each pupil's IEP in consultation with parents and teaching staffEssential requirements:Recognised qualification as an Occupational TherapistAppropriate registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in EnglandExperience in paediatric occupational therapy as a studentExperience in a SEN/SpLD environmentDemonstrated knowledge of the needs of children with ASC Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding childrenExcellent communication skills, both written and oral with staff, students & parents where appropriate Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a teamAbility to use email, internet, computer for clinical and administrative tasksKnowledge of relevant risk management, health and safety and child protection practices.
