Precon Project Manager Required in Oxford.

Working for a reputable highways contractor on a multi million pound project. The job will be a temporary contract for about 6 months. You will be in charge of the day today running of the preconstruction works, you will have to report into the project director on progress and also liaise with the subcontractors on a daily basis. You will be in charge of 3 or 4 preconstruction managers.

You will be dealing with the architect, client and all sub contractors on the works, you will be responsible for organisation of the highways development scheme and also overseeing the finance.

You must have a highways & background, this works is land remediation, large earth movements, 278 works, roads and highways.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role will include office based precon management

Office paperwork and computer work

Overall supervision of the workforce in the office

Being responsible for implementing health and safety, compiling detailed reports and task briefs

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working on civils & highway projects

Preconstruction experience

SMSTS

CSCS Card

First Aid

The ability to run a team effectively
