Primary Class Teacher - Abu Dhabi, August 2019

Curriculum: UK
Experience: 2-4 years (however, NQT's will be considered)
Package: 10,800 - 12,500AED per month
Sponsorship: Single or married teaching couples
Contract: 2 years renewable

School Overview: This is a multi-cultural, caring community in which the children are encouraged to become independent thinkers and learning from an early age within a safe and positive environment. Each individual child is values, natured and encouraged to reach their full potential whilst developing a love of learning. The majority of the learning is based on the English National Curriculum which including links to the UAE culture. The primary school runs from KG to Year 6 which the children can make a smooth transition to the secondary school. The secondary school currently offers up to GSCE level, and will continue to grow and reach up to A Level. The core subjects of Maths, English, Science, Computing, Humanities are studied in years 1-6, with streaming according to the ability in English and Math in Years 3-6.

Requirements: Applicants must have a minimum of 2-4 years teaching experience of a British Curriculum school. However, strong NQT's will be considered. They must be native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa. Primary teachers must have a Bachelor of Education or BA in Education, and Secondary and specialist teachers must have a Degree and PCGE relevant to subject.

Salary and Benefits: 10,800 - 12,500AED per month, depending on qualifications/experience; Shared accommodation or allowance (2500AED pcm); married teaching couples will be provided a separate apartment, start and end of contract flights, with a flight allowance of 3000AED mid contract in lieu of annual flight, 50% for tuition (married teaching couples only), medical insurance, transport to school, end of contract gratuity.
