Primary Teacher

Contract: 2 year, renewable

School Vision / Ethos: This brand new international pre-school will be opening this year in Shenzhen, China. It will be part of an international education group with 100 schools in over 11 countries, providing high quality education to over 15,000 children globally. Over the last 21 years, the school group has been at the forefront of international education offering innovative pre-schools and K-12 schools across Asia. In the early years, an inquiry-based "Inquire-Think-Learn"curriculum, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach is followed.

Location Overview: Shenzhen itself is a wonderful planned city filled with Plants and shrubbery on the coast in the warmer southern climbs of China. The excitement of Hong Kong is not too far away. The school itself is situated in an expat area called Nanshan, and looks out across the bay to Hong Kong - which is close enough to enjoy very easily at weekends.

Requirements:



* Applicants must be willing to be flexible and able to contribute to this brand new school.
* Applicants must have a Bachelor of Education or PGCE equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant teaching experience.
* Inquiry-based experience is highly desirable, as is previous international experience in Asia.
