We currently require highly motivated and engaging tutors to provide catch up tuition for children in Y5 & Y6 within a mainstream primary school. The role is part of the National Tutoring Programme and will start after February half term/as soon as all children are back in school or potentially sooner online. This will be part time tuition mainly within the afternoon with some after school hours and will be until July 2021.

Responsibilities:
* Working with children with a variety of needs.
* Supporting children either 1:1 or 1:3 with numeracy and literacy.
* Engaging with the children.
* Promoting positive behaviour.
* Making observations in line with the KS2 curriculum and reporting on children's individual progress.
* Supporting the teacher with behaviour management.
Requirements: As a successful teacher/instructor you will have-
* Experience of teaching children in a primary school.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to promote independence and self reliance in our learners.
* Experience of supporting a class teacher to promote positive behaviour.
* Knowledge of the Y5/Y6 primary curriculum.
* The ability to communicate and work as part of a team within the school.
