Principal Planning Officer

Are you a Senior or Principal Planner looking for your next role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Planning Officer within a Local Authority based in Cambridge on an initial 3-6 month contract which has the options of further extensions.

Our client is happy to consider both UK and Non UK experience.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:



* 7-10 years planning experience, including experience as Principal Officer.
* Experience of assessing large scale applications 100 + housing units.
* Ability to co-ordinate multi agencies.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Committee and general presentation work.
* Able to work independently/ on own initiative.
* Large scale S106 agreement experience.
* Relationship building with customers, Senior Managers of the Council and Senior Councillors.
