Principal Planner - £38.02 per hour - London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Planning Officer based in a Local Authority in London.
3 months durationTo lead on strategic planning applications for the Council ensuring strategic objectives and local needs are met via sustainable, quality developmentProvision of pre-application advice in line with government and corporate standards as well as the Council's planning policy frameworkResponsibility for decisions and recommendations regarding development managementRobust and detailed procedures implemented and managed for the processing of all Development Management applications, pre-applications and related processesTo ensure the service complies with relevant legislation, regulations and policiesTo support Planning Managers / Deputies in the delivery of town planning services including providing a customer focused service which maximises service outcomes in relation to cost
- A degree in planning or other appropriate professional qualification and a member of the RTPI or eligible for or working toward full membership
