I am currently working with one of the UK's leading Consultancies who are looking to add to their already impressive Structural department.

I am representing a company who are responsible for the design of projects valuing over £200 million and have unrivalled relationships with market leaders enabling their continued growth and success.

My client are a market leader in innovation and utilise BIM extensively in the production of design information and are looking for forward thinking Engineers to add to their team.

My client is looking for for an Associate or an experienced Principal Engineer to work in their existing Structural department.

The general responsibilities will include:



* Empowering staff
* Delegating responsibilies in the workforce
* Day to day running of projects
* Liaising with the client, contractors and other consultancies
* Managing the Structures design team in the office, ensuring the provision of efficient high-quality engineering design
* Responsible in leading the quality and the timely delivery of multiple projects running concurrently, including the preparation of the Design Scope of work as well as the technical designs of projects
* Co-ordination and management of other discipline inputs into multidisciplinary projects.
* Ensure that all project related documentation is kept in compliance to the Business Management systems, processes and procedures.

Key considerations



* Must be able to work under pressure & have strong managerial, leadership and project management skills.
* Strong design capabilities
* Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
* Ability to set goals and plans to fulfill corporate objectives
* Ability to adapt well to changing priorities and situations without a loss of effectiveness
