    Product Specialist - Diesel Parts/Automotive

    A leading global supply of automotive parts, are looking for a product specialist, to join their technical sales team. The role will suit someone with a passion for everything automotive, as you will be the go-to person for the diesel product line.
    The role will involve a lot of complex project work, as well as managing the relationships with around 30 specialist repair centres, across the UK and the Nordics.


    Product specialists customize the global portfolio for the local market requirements. They are the technical expert in customer discussions and convey future product requirements back to the product managers of the global business unit. Product manager of the business unit and product specialist in the sub-region both build the knee joint of the organization.
    The Product Specialist (PS) is the expert for the specific product group(s) in the assigned territories from the technical and commercial perspectives and drives product related activities.
    The PS is responsible for product specific turnover, gross margin, product positioning and image in the assigned territories according to EU targets, in agreement their respective team leader and business unit.


    Qualifications

    3 to 5 years of successful experience as Marketing Product Manager/Product Specialist. This experience will ideally have been carried out in the automotive aftermarket sector.
    Positive and solution-oriented in a logic of increasing the competence and efficiency of the marketing team.
    Respectful and with good human values (questioning), you like to share your experiences and best practices with your colleagues.
    With excellent analytical skills, proactive, convincing and able to reach the objective thanks to creativity and flexibility.
    Excellent relationship skills
    Organised, pragmatic and at ease in project management.
    Ready to travel.
