Production Planner required on a permanent basis to join an industry leading manufacturing business.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity at the forefront of manufacturing technology? Do you have a background in the successful facilitation and delivery of projects? Have you got a background of working in a fast paced manufacturing / production / fabrication? If you are seeking an exciting technical challenge then this is the role for you!

You will be responsible for the creation of Bills of Materials, the generation of effective production routes and the efficient planning and control of production to meet contractual deadlines.

Key responsibilities:



* Create, maintain and use of forecast & capacity plans
* Monitor, report and recommend on issues involving capacity constraints and excess capacity
* Control the release works orders
* Generate and distribute plans and work flow information to production personnel
* Creation of material take off lists for requisitions
* Create and continuously improve production Bills of Materials and production routes
* Manage the change control processes
* Assist in the development and improvement of the supply chain

Experience required:



* Experience in metal fabrication manufacturing environment
* HNC or equivalent in Manufacturing or Engineering or proven experience in a similar role
* Demonstrable understanding and hands on experience with MRP / ERP systems
