Working hours:
This is a permanent position on an annualised hours' contract basis. You must be able to work various shift patterns including days and nights, which cover a 24-hour period, 7 days a week and will flex throughout the year in line with the business needs.
Position Summary:
As a Production Process and System Operator the focus of your role will be on activities relating to the movement of products or stock through the SAP production system. You may also be required to manually move stock. You'll receive all the training and support you need to become a confident system user and a critical member of the production team.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications required for this role:
The confidence to use computerised systems within a warehouse environmentThe ability to work efficiently and accurately with numerical dataAn eye for detail with the ability to spot inaccuracies or errorsA methodical approach to completing tasksThe enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills, including being trained on a range of equipment which may include fork-lift trucks and other MHEIdeally, experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or fast paced working environment
You will be responsible for:
Accurately recording stock movements on the SAP systemProcessing requests for raw materials, intermediate products and packaging in line with the production plan or as requiredFollowing standards in key areas such health & safety, food safety, cost, performance and environmental targets Following standard operating procedures, policies and ways of working You may be required to use equipment such as fork-lift trucks to safely move stock around the plant - from goods in and making sure lines are supplied in line with their requirements to processing returns and shipping products out. You may also be required to manually move products.
