    Project Management Technician

    We have an exciting opportunity for a project management technician to join a world class machinery company based in Peterborough, for a 12 month contract with potential to extend. You will be responsible for facilitating and developing basic project schedules and high level reports. This role requires a familiarity with computers, so if this sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity!

    Benefits:

    • Hybrid role with a 50/50 split
    • Mon - Thurs: 08:30 - 16:45 Friday: 08:30 -16:15
    • Flexibility with working hours

    Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to and apply established group policies and procedures for project management
    • Enter into the system project data from planning sessions
    • Work with project team members and supervisors to resolve schedule and logic errors
    • Maintain a project sharepoint site including management of templates and database structure under supervision of your supervisor
    • Administering database security and licencing practices at local worksite
    • Create routine report packages and communicate program status

    Requirements:

    • A relevant business or technical degree
    • A technical background with exposure to a project environment
    • Computer literate and confident using Office 365
    • Willingness to work through challenges
    • The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and hold themselves accountable
    • The ideal candidate will hold effective communication skills both written and oral
    • A bonus would be basic experience in Lean Six Sigma or business practices
