job description

On behalf of small but growing Groundworks and Demolition Company, we are keen to speak to construction professionals who can manage groundworks and demolitions contracts from conception to completion.

Working closely with the Director from the initial planning stages, duties will include:



* Plan the project resources, including labour, plant and materials
* Understand the Client Spec and provide value engineered options where application
* Programming the specified works
* Provide costing input at tender stage
* Work with the Director to manage the commercial success of the projects, reporting variations and and any financial risks
* Client liaising, providing progress reports and building relationships
* Drive Company H&S standards across all projects
* Writing Risk Assessment sand Method Statements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate your construction knowledge within groundworks, drainage and concrete, as well as hold a:

CSCS card
SMSTS/SSSTS preferable

The role will predominantly office based in Hertfordshire with site visits across London as required.
