A boutique consultancy of 20 staff in London are seeking a Project Manager to work on luxury Retail projects.

Main Duties

* Work closely with the client to understand the business requirements for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.
* Define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project and manage their development and delivery.
* Prepare tender and contract documents.
* Ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements of the business unit.
* To estimate and plan projects from start to finish with built in contingencies.
* To ensure project meet industry leading quality standards.
* Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team assigned to the project.
* To conduct project presentations and compile reports.

Working Arrangements

* Based in London office
* Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm but these hours are adjusted to suit the requirements of the projects.

Education and Other Qualifications

* RICS qualified or working towards this
* Good numeracy, literacy and language skills (in English).
* Good IT skills with experience in Microsoft Excel.
* Good report writing skills.


* A proven track record of successful project implementation in the construction industry.
* Team management experience.
* Excellent client facing skills.
* Experience of the whole project cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage and at each stage in between.
* The ability to have a strong impact and influence key decision.
* Must have Retail fit out experience and ideally within the UK
* Must have the ability to see a job through
* PM experience in other sectors would also be good - i.e. high end residential, commercial office
