Randstad C&P are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to work on various steel frame projects across the UK. They are seeking a Project Manager to complete projects on time and within budget! The contractor are emerging, and are currently looking to grow their team due to various project wins across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Sussex. The contractor have a srtong order book moving into 2025, having recently won a number of tenders.
As a Project Manager, the successful applicant will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of industrial steel frame projects. The role promises a strong salary of up to £90,000 plus package and benefits, and is starting ASAP! The selected candidate should be open to staying away for the right role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of industrial steel frame projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor project status and address any issues promptly.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience managing industrial steel frame projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
