Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity in project planning with an automotive company based in Rugby? This company has over 9000 employees and is in 32 locations world wide and they are looking for someone to be part of their team.


Project Planner is member of Project Management Core Team. You will be responsible for integrating and
coordinating the project lifecycle phases in compliance with the Comau business processes and
functional departments. You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining with Project Manager the project
control schedules in accordance with appropriate procedures, guidelines and instructions, ensuring that
the project schedules accurately reflect the scope of the project in accordance with an agreed Work
Breakdown Structure and are of sufficient detail to enable project progress to be accurately monitored,
reported and communicated. Project Planner assist the Project Manager for progress review meetings,
monitoring and reporting to Project Manager on the overall project activities and milestones, analyzing
trends which may imply delay and proposing any required corrective actions to ensure that projects are
delivered to the required time targets.

Minimum Eligibility requirements:

- At least two years of work experience in Comau.
- Project Management Fundamentals training
- Induction Plan = 3 months

Duties and Responsibilities

(these are the positions essential duties and is not an all inclusive list)

Main areas of responsibilities are:

· Work closely with Project Manager to ensure critical changes that affect the project timeline are
adjusted on the project timeline.
· Develop full scale project plans
· Plan and schedule project timelines
· Integrate project schedule, risk evaluations and assessment
· Track project deliverables using appropriate tools with the Project Manager
· Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to Project Manager
· Compiling monthly data for monthly project reviews
· Manage the project schedule reporting
· Supporting project with achieving functional milestone deadlines
· Supporting project managers at project inception with establishing the project baseline documents.
· Facilitating recovery planning meetings with project teams.
· Supporting Managing information and recommendation to strategic plans and reviews.
· Support the Project Manager with project changes rescheduling

Knowledge & Skills

· Knowledge of practical aspects of project management
· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
· Experience in Planning and Monitoring, Change Management.
· Project Scheduling software experience (MS Project and others)
· Experience using Microsoft office suite with advanced skills in Excel.

· Education :

o Preferred Bachelor's degree (hoped in Engineering);
o PMP Certification is appreciated
· Previous experiences
o Two years of experience

o Second language highly appreciated
