    Project Quantity Surveyor

    Are you a career driven Quantity Surveyor who would like to take the next step and join a prestigious South London based developer which has a strong pipeline of high spec residential projects.

    A vacancy on this flagship circa £220m multi-phase project has arisen due to an internal promotion - showcasing the progression opportunities available within this company.

    Project info

    • Exciting new scheme involving luxury apartments, townhouses and leisure facilities
    • Great exposure for a hungry QS with an aptitude for learning
    • Working alongside a great team - very hard working but sociable outside of hours
    • Fantastic mentors to learn from
    • overall project valued circa £220million
    • Mixed residential development - traditional and RC frame build
    • Multi - phase project comprised of over 900 units in total
    • 6 years of solid work forecasted on project - great promotion opportunities on the succeeding phases

    What you will be doing

    • You will be working on 2 phases, a 300 and 400 units phase - procurement heavy role
    • Responsible for procurement of some high risk packages and many low risk packages - internals as well as frame and substructure on the following phase
    • Preparing CVR's
    • Will be helping to manage an Assistant QS
    • The view is to progress to a Senior QS within 18 months

    Requirements

    • At least 4+ years experience working within a QS position in the UK
    • An excellent approach to work and professional outlook on the construction industry
    • Main contractor/developer experience desired but not essential
    • RC Frame experience needed
    • Strong references
    • Computer literate
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Solid commercial acumen
    • Educated to a degree level or equivalent (BSc Quantity Surveying preferred)
