Are you a project Surveyor looking for your next role in the Social Housing Sector? Do you have experience managing projects from £100,000 to £5,000,000? Do you have previous trade experience of working as an electrician?

Our client, a reputable Housing Association with a proud history within the social sector, is looking for a Project Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Located in the Newport area, with great transport links. This could be the ideal role for you.

Manage Projects from £100,000 - £5,000,000

Carry out site surveys

Prepare specifications & tendering documents for procurement of suitable contracts

Undertake Project Management duties (pre contract, contract phase and post contract) on allocated projects as defined by the Senior Projects Surveyor and Capital Works Manager

Ensure the activities of the organisation are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in accordance with all relevant legislation


* Valid CSCS
* Previous experience as an Electrician
* Previous working knowledge of managing or working on domestic and commercial rewires and fire alarm systems
* Working experience to 17th/18th edition regulations
* Relevant HND \ HNC qualification in construction Or Level 3 equivalent in electrical Discipline (2391) or (2394) & (2395)
* Project management experience in a property/contracting context delving M&E improvement works.
* Knowledge of appropriate industry legislation including Building Regulations, Party Wall Act, Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations etc.
* Experience of writing specifications and obtaining quotes tenders for work
