job description

Do you have experience in lettings or social housing? Or perhaps you're an experienced administrator? Are you looking for a new opportunity starting ASAP? This is a full time temporary position covering maternity leave. The role is an immediate start, for 6 months initially (possibly longer) and your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 08.30-17.00 with a 16.30 finish on a Friday.

As a Void Property Officer you will be monitoring void properties, your main responsibilities will include:
*Monitoring notices to terminate tenancies and the return of keys
*Creating adverts for the properties on a specific system
*Contacting prospective tenants and setting up viewings
*Liaising with other departments about inspections of vacant properties
*Ensuring that all stages of the process are recorded on a database
*Other duties as required

Skills and experience:
*Excellent communication skills - must be confident on the phone and face to face
*Experience working within lettings or social housing would be desirable
*Attention to detail and organisational skills
*Ability to work under pressure
*Experience using MS office, specifically Excel
