Randstad Engineering are currently looking for a Prototype Properties Coordinator to work for one of the worlds leading British car manufacturer of sports cars based in the West Midlands.

As a Prototype Coordinator you will be required to control and coordinate prototype parts with Programme Module Team areas.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

* The Prototype Properties Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and updating prototype Bill of Materials with part tracking information gathered from different Programme Module Team areas
* The Prototype Properties Coordinator will assist the Prototype Properties Leader, and take an active part in the creation of prototype bills of materials.
* The Prototype Properties Coordinator will work with the Programme Module Team areas and prototype workshop on the coordination & supply of prototype and production parts into the business from suppliers both internal & external.
* The Prototype Properties Coordinator will track parts via the Bill of Materials for specific builds using purchase order information (order numbers, timing, quantities etc.).
* Prototype Properties Coordinator will raise Purchase Create Requisitions for internal transfer requests where required for both engineering and production parts.
* Assist Programme Module Team areas with expediting purchase requests through various systems both internal & external.
* Work with different departments to ensure parts are delivered on time to support prototype builds.
* Communicate with Finance to generate reports to track spend against budget.

Qualifications and Experience

* Previous Bill of Materials management and control
* Previous parts management & coordination
* Knowledge of production vehicle assembly from start to finish
* Knowledge & experience of prototype part production methods (desirable).
* Experience of financial tracking and reporting (desirable).
* In depth experience of Excel desirable; data manipulation, referencing, formulae, macros etc.
* Experience in generation presentations and reports using data from Bill of Materials
* Ability to interpret then use data from spreadsheets to support meeting discussions and activities
* Must be happy to travel to different sites to support build activities/meetings as required
