Psychology & Sociology Teacher
September start - Leeds, West Yorkshire

Are you a dynamic Psychology and Sociology Teacher, looking to make a difference in a good school which is working hard to gain a great reputation in the city of Leeds? A school in the heart of Leeds is looking for a Psychology & Sociology teacher for a September start. This would be full time term time hours.

A successful candidate will need to be able to teach Psychology and Sociology, both at Key Stages 4 and 5.

They will also need to -
- Display effective planning in order that good teaching, learning and assessment takes place
- Be able to identify where improvements and provision for support for pupils is required
- Focus on all-round development of pupils as opposed to just focussing on exam performance of key stage 4 and 5 students
- Guide pupils in the selection of extra-curricular opportunities to help develop them socially and improve confidence
- Have strong classroom control. Behavior at the school is good but the pupils must be kept on task during lessons to secure the best outcomes
