I'm looking for an experienced PTS Section Engineer to join my client on a long term freelance position working in North London. This is a rail project where the scope of work involves platform extensions, station build, and finishes. The ideal candidate will have similar experience working on a medium-level station upgrade.
Roles and responsibilities:Reporting to the Project Manager Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design teamPreparing and writing method statements, ITP's and risk assessmentsSite set up and compliance with health and safetyPlanning and programming of the works 3 weeks aheadAttending weekly progress meetingsManagement of site/setting out engineersCandidate Requirements:Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalentExperience working with a recognised tier 1 contractorHave previous experience as a Section Engineer in the rail environmentKnowledge of heavy civils Excellent communication and organisation skillsA valid CSCS card
