Are you an experienced administrator looking for a new permanent opportunity? Do you have a good level of Excel and a high level of accuracy when inputting information? Are you able to review data in spreadsheets and highlight possible errors easily? If you are answering yes to these questions, this permanent opportunity could be your next career move.

I am supporting one of my clients with the recruitment of an administrator to work in their purchasing team. This is a full time permanent position paying £19,000 to £21,000 per annum depending upon experience. You will be liaising with suppliers to check on delivery times and stock availability, where you will then pass information onto the customer. You will need to have a good level of Excel with accurate inputting skills as you will be reviewing and manipulating data from orders and invoices. As the suppliers are all based in China, being able to speak Chinese would be an advantage, but not essential as all of your contact with them can be via email.

Working in a team of 3 people within a medium sized business, you will be working on a full time basis, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. On a day to day basis, your job will include, but is not limited to;
*Managing and updating product codes
*Inputting invoice details and updating delivery notes
*Managing all shipping documents
*Raising purchase orders
*Supporting colleagues with production plans
*Working closely with other teams in the business including sales, warehouse and purchasing
*Updating and maintaining database and systems
*Communicating with teams and suppliers

Preferred Skills:
*Previous experience in a sales order processing/administration (1 year minimum)
*Excellent communicator - written and verbal
*Experience using SAGE would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given
*Experience of working with a product
*Data processing - speed and accuracy
*Strong Excel skills
*Procurement or logistics would be preferred
