You will take responsibility for the management of the site and day to day maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and high quality environment for the staff employed on siteYou will have key holding responsibilities and ensure a system is in place for site security cover outside of opening hoursYou will be a reliable individual, experienced and knowledgeable in Health and Safety practices as well as managing budgetsYou will have the ability to work from your own initiative for effective day to day management of the site and will work closely with the Head on strategic site plansYou will have good IT skills and good inter-personal skills.The ability to run a team effectivelyPrevious experience working on Residential Projects You must have the following qualifications SMSTSFIRST AIDCSCS Card Please do not apply if you do not fit the above requirements.         About these Roles: Experienced Finishing Managers required to work with site based construction team's on a variety of different projects in Bristol, Swindon and Bath.Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing trade sub-contractors and all site based construction activities for your section/area, including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, logistics, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.All the projects have commenced on site and run until the handover, mid 2021. Excellent opportunity to work and gain experience on a large, fast paced projects across the west. About the Company/Client/Project: They are all busy, regional main contractors with an average annual turnover of £75M, and a proven track record in the delivery of medium - large sized schemes from £5m to £50m in a variety of sectors. Requirements including certificates and qualifications: The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. A proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor would be advantageous.Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager looking to gain experience on a larger scheme.You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.High standards, attention to detail and the drive will be very well rewarded with excellent salary, benefits, promotional and development prospects.
